小作文 - Reading Report for The Picture of Dorian Gray
前言
笔者最近在整理各种文件时，无意中又打开了本科时期的留下的文件夹，在其中，我看到了一些曾经写过的一些小文章，怀念的感觉不禁油然而生。虽然此时回望，这些小文章无不体现了本人拙劣的写作水平，某些文章更是处处透露出应付差事的目的，但是无论如何，他们也算是承载了我的小小一段青春时光，于是，与其让其尘封在硬盘里，最终烟消云散，不如将其记录于此，供未来的自己回看消遣。
话说在前，这些文字于本人也是某种程度的黑历史，因此对于懂得写作的人恐怕更是难以入眼，如果此文不幸被写作大佬看到，还请多多包涵，如果可以，尽量关闭页面，连看也别看的好……
言归正传，这一篇是本人在大二第一学期写的，是《英语语法与写作I》这门课的一次作业。
这门课，一言难尽，总之就是遇到了“艺术家”老师，一整个学期的教学都很“艺术”，再加上本人生病在医院一阵子，导致了在这门课啥也没学着，课程作业也写的很水，但不论如何，也放在这里做纪念。
本文内容为《道连格雷的画像》的读后感，记忆中这一学期本人应该是开始了背托福词汇，然而写这篇文章的时候应该连四分之一都还没背完，这样的词汇量对于阅读王尔德的作品实际还是差的太远了，最终应该是结合着中文译本把整本书读完的，因此对于作品的理解还是比较浅，整篇小作文没什么值得说的，无论是立意还是写作技巧都很平平无奇，仅放在这里作纪念。
值得一提的是本人的毕业论文写的也是《道连格雷的画像》的分析，相对这篇还是深入了许多，未来有空也会搬运到博客中。
Reading Report for The Picture of Dorian Gray
After finishing reading ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’, I can feel many different thoughts colliding in my mind, like a thunder storm, brings me hither and thither.
The Picture of Dorian Gray is an English novel written by Oscar Wilde. Dorian Gray, painter Basil, Lord Henry are its main characters. It tells a story which both begins and ends with the portrait of Dorian Gray.
In this novel, every main character has his own unique personality, Dorian is the symbol of pure beauty, Basil devoted himself into the pursuing of art and beauty, and Lord Henry, which I think is the most charming character in the book, is the token of rebellion and future. The story begins with the meeting between Henry and Dorian, when Dorian was being painted by Basil, the writer first introduced his concept of beauty with natural and fluent language from Henry, and the concept was that beauty was the most incredible thing in the world. However, beauty is too fragile to stay, it can only exist for a little while, and that made Dorian despair, so he made a wish to exchange his soul with the picture so that his beauty can stay forever. Nobody ever thought of that the wish eventually came true, and with the everlasting beauty and Henry’s continuous talking of hedonism, Dorian began to pursue the limitless joy. It was in this time that the writer drew forth the new point, and that is the darkness of humanity. The writer began with the love story of Dorian, after his girlfriend fell love with him, he suddenly felt that she changed and his love for her disappeared, and then he just abandoned her, which lead to her suicide. Knowing her death, Dorian was very regretful and sorry and he wanted to change himself, however, more and more temptations and lust dominated Dorian, and that made him walked into the world of joy or the world of hell
There are many famous sentences Oscar Wilde created in this novel, what impressed me most is that ‘The only way to resist temptation is to yield to it.’ In fact, The Picture of Dorian Gray explains that sentence perfectly. Facing with huge amount of temptations, maybe there are no people can actually run away off it. So, are we ready for being occupied by our own desire?
